What is MS Connect?
MS Connect is a great resource of information for people living with MS in the Torbay area. This app includes information about diagnosis, what will happen in six months, medications, living with MS, healthy lifestyles or people with MS, exercises, guided meditation podcasts produced by Dr Agne Straukiene, virtual appointments to MS clinics and various other resources.
You will find high quality and informative videos which describes MS, explains which treatments are available and how to help yourself. There are a range of support documents and guides that can help you manage your condition. You will also find contact information for people at the Torbay Neurology Department who you can contact by email or telephone for advice.
Co-designed by Dr Agne Straukiene, the Neurology department, existing patients and developed by Health and Care Innovations. It brings all the information you need into one place, ensuring help is never too far away.

Dr Agne Straukiene commissioned and wrote content for the app, with assistance from specialist MS nurse Jenny Pye, physiotherapist at Torbay hospital and the rest of the Torbay neurology department.
MS Connect was developed by Health and Care Innovations, the creators of the largest health and care videos library in the UK. They are videos we use throughout the app to inform patients about their conditions, medications, treatment plans and self-care options.
Sanofi funded the creation of MS Connect to specifically help those in the Torbay area to live with their MS. They have not contributed to any extend to the content of the app. Several MS patients tested the app and gave vital feedback to help the developers tailor the app for Torbay MS healthcare pathway.
