Dr Agne Straukiene commissioned and wrote content for the app, with assistance from specialist MS nurse Jenny Pye, physiotherapist at Torbay hospital and the rest of the Torbay neurology department.
MS Connect was developed by Health and Care Innovations, the creators of the largest health and care videos library in the UK. They are videos we use throughout the app to inform patients about their conditions, medications, treatment plans and self-care options.
Sanofi funded the creation of MS Connect to specifically help those in the Torbay area to live with their MS. They have not contributed to any extend to the content of the app. Several MS patients tested the app and gave vital feedback to help the developers tailor the app for Torbay MS healthcare pathway.
